Fetes de Lili Event Planning and Design hosted this Aqua Little Man Mustache Baby Shower with bright aqua blues, mustaches and hints of lime green. A perfect combination to welcome the first grandchild of the family!

PARTY DETAILS

When hosting a baby shower for the first grandson of the family, me and my friend took our time choosing every detail that showed little man elegance but at the same time felt sweet and lovely. Coming into a family with an Italian background, we called it a Bambino Baby Shower. With the beautiful color scheme of Tiffany blue, mint and white, it was easy to add small details like black mustaches to set the elegant and chic tone.

The food and desserts were displayed on silver and white platters to add a touch of elegance and have the Tiffany blue really pop out. The cake was placed on a silver box elevated from the other silver platters holding cupcakes and cookies in blue with black polka dot treat bags. We incorporated the little mustaches and hints of black throughout.

For the buffet table, we used miniature chalkboard stakes with green apples as a base to label each food.

Instead of real flowers, we used Tiffany blue tissue poms on white vases as centerpieces. Each vase was then surrounded by the favor envelopes containing blue M&M candies and closed with a bright green label that read “Thank You.” The silverware was wrapped in blue striped napkins to add another hint of blue to the white table linens.

By the buffet table, we placed white square plates and added a hint of green by displaying green plastic cutlery for the little ones attending the baby shower.

Silver and Tiffany blue continued to be the color that popped in the bar area. Wine bottles and miniature apple cider bottles filled the silver buckets and we added a blue welcome drink for guests while they mingled and had appetizers.

Instead of having a guest book that later gets lost, we went with a Tree of Life where guests got to put their fingerprints as leaves until the tree was filled with aqua and lime green finger prints.

And no party would be complete without a Photo Booth. Our friend and talented photographer Jackie from “Photography by Jacqueline Reyna” created a colorful backdrop for our guests. Our mommy-to-be was a celebrity for the night.
